CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY CHARTER

Great Panther is committed to achieving the highest standards in Corporate Social Responsibility for its operations at every stage of project development, from early stage exploration to mature mining operations.

We recognize that the ability to generate long-term value for our shareholders is firmly rooted in the manner in which we conduct ourselves, how we treat our employees, how we interact with the communities in which we operate, and how we respect the environment.

We are committed to working diligently with our stakeholders to achieve the responsible development of our projects and operations, and to contribute to the sustainable development of the communities in which we work.

Our approach to CSR is defined by the five pillars of: Our People, Workplace Health and Safety, Community Engagement and Sustainability, Environment, and Corporate Governance and Ethics.

Our People
At Great Panther we recognize that our people are the key to our ongoing success. We provide a working environment based on respect and partnership that encourages continue professional growth and development so that everyone can successfully contribute to the Company's vision. We will continue to provide employment conditions that are safe, fair and equitable.

Workplace Health and Safety
At Great Panther we are committed to ensuring our employees and contractors are able to perform their jobs safely each and every day. As such, we strive to provide the necessary training, safety equipment and workplace environment to facilitate that and we strive for continuous improvement.

Community Engagement and Sustainability
At Great Panther we are dedicated to making a positive contribution to the communities in which we live and work. We operate in communities which have a long history in mining and we have shown respect for those mining traditions together with active consultative participation in new community projects.

Environment
At Great Panther, given the nature of our business, we know we must have a high standard of environmental stewardship and we take that responsibility seriously. We promote the rational use and conservation of resources taking action to prevent and minimize our impact on the environment in the development of our activities complying at the same time with current legislation.

Corporate Governance and Ethics
At Great Panther, we aim to always act in a professional and responsible fashion. We conduct our business dealings with strong ethics and we abide by all rules and regulations which apply to our business.

Great Panther Silver Corporate Social Responsibility Charter

The Great Panther Silver team held its 7^th annual reforestation on Saturday, July 14, 2012. This year, our tree planting event was named “H2O” and approximately 1,070 trees of the native species Acacias, ranging from 0.70 to 1 metre, were planted on the east side of our tailing dams.

Trees (native species) are important for:

• Reducing the build-up of atmospheric carbon dioxide.
• Providing a tree canopy to help regulate climate.
• Reducing soil erosion and maintain water base.
• Ensuring biological diversity.

The event was organized by Great Panther with the collaboration of local stakeholders and partners. This year the trees were donated by the National Forestry Commission of Mexico (CONAFOR).

Volunteer “diggers” and “planters” from the following agencies attended to the event:

• Teachers and families from the Guanajuato Child Development Centre (DIF Estatal)
• SEMARNAT, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources
• PROFEPA, Federal Organization for Environmental Protection
• Secretary of Labour and Social Welfare 
• Secretary of Mining of the State of Guanajuato
• Department of Mines, University of Guanajuato

Almost 100 people were there to help plant the trees and together reached a new record of 1,070 planted. The new reforested area is now approximately 2,400 square metres.

Great Panther wishes to thank all its employees for making of this another successful event. Big thanks to the members of the community for their unconditional support, rain or shine and to the local and state authorities that participated once again of this event and provided their support and expertise. Special thanks go to the National Forestry Commission of Mexico, CONAFOR, for their tree donation.
